Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist who is known for his unique style. Baker was born to his English Scottish German family in Houston, Texas U.S.A. in the 22nd of April in 1991. As a child, he spent a great deal of time traveling along with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker battled depression as well as joblessness. His Mother Sonia Alane dumped him at the age of nine. Then, Baker along with his father moved to Denver in the area where they stayed together with his father's aunt. Baker's lack of resources was a reason for bullying by kids who were around him. When he was in sixth grade, he started listening to hip-hop. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. The music he composes blends modern hip-hop, alternative and rock. Baker released four mixtapes prior to signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. This Cleveland rapper, who delivers songs as quickly as bullets, saw a meteoric climb in late 2011, when he switched from self-releasing mixtapes and working with respected labels. From there his career skyrocketed every album ranking in the top 10.
