Alinity Divine
Alinity was referenced in a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch participant who filed an action against Twitch and sought damages that amount to $25 million. He claimed that the site exposed him explicit and sexually explicit video content from female streamers. Dexerto obtained court documents that show the plaintiff who had previously filed a lawsuit against Microsoft Sony Nintendo Blizzard and Blizzard was the one who filed a formal complaint on June 15. Twitch received an official summons from the court on the 19th June. Estavillo is an individual who, according to the complaint he filed in Santa Clara Superior Court of California that was filed on the 15th of June, suffers from obsessive/compulsive disorders as well as sexual addiction, among other medical problems that make him depend solely on the internet to keep himself entertained. The complaint also claims Twitch causes these problems. The complaint went on to mention a number of female streamers that it says "continues to provide viewers with a wide range of content that they are just looking to catch users playing video games on Twitch, but instead get confronted with sexually addictive content and other content on a regular and frequent basis." Alinity is not included. The complaint requests all of the above streamers to be permanently barred from Twitch because they violated the TOS. The complaint also demands an amount of $25 million as compensation which would "be divided equally between the plaintiff, any other Twitch Turbo subscribers, as well as any funds left."
